"It’s 4:32 in the morning and I can't sleep. I look in the monitor and I look like crap," Jenner admits in a candid overnight scene for I Am Cait. Without makeup and in her bathrobe, Jenner films herself worrying about the thousands of transgender youth being bullied across the country for their gender identity.

"I feel bad that these young people are going through such a difficult time in their life. We don’' want people dying over this, murdered. What a responsibility I have toward this community. . . My mind's just spinning with thoughts," she continues.

The recipient of the 2015 Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the July 15 ESPYS, Jenner said she has long desired to be a role model for those younger trans people and anyone being bullied. It's something Jenner makes her mission on I Am Cait, and on the premiere episode, viewers will see her speak with Katherine Prescott, the mother of San Diego transgender teen Kyler Prescott, who committed suicide in May at age 14.
"Seek help," Jenner advises trans teens who are struggling. "You just have to get through that day."

Jenner is grateful for the chance to tell her story — unfiltered — on I Am Cait. "Bruce always had to tell a lie," she recalled in July's Vanity Fair of her previous male persona. "He was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret from morning 'til night... Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. . . I’m free."
