Drake, Fans Laugh Off Meek Mill’s Diss Reply, 'Wanna Know'

If Twitter comments can be used to denote a victor, Drake is winning his rap battle with Meek Mill.
Mill’s “Wanna Know,” his highly anticipated response to Drake’s diss raps, was slammed online Thursday. Mill maintains his stance that Drake does not write his songs, and makes specific reference to Drake’s “Know Yourself,” even playing audio of another rapper demoing a verse that includes a trademark Drake lyric, “Runnin’ through the six with my woes.”

Mill also compares Drake to Milli Vanilli, the 1980s pop group that was exposed for lip-synching all of their songs. A Photoshopped image of Drake wearing French braids like the group is featured in the audio player.

Still, “Wanna Know was dismantled by Twitter users who complain that Mill’s lyrics are indecipherable, sophomoric, and an embarrassment to his girlfriend Nicki Minaj:
Drake even replied to the song, posting a photograph of himself laughing on Instagram. Last Saturday, Drake released his first of two Mill diss tracks. He unveiled “Charged Up” on his Beats 1 radio show. On Wednesday, he dropped a second song, “Back to Back.” Both ignited firestorms online in favor of the Toronto rapper.
On “Back to Back,” Drake belittles Mill for being an act on his “girl’s tour,” and for getting emasculated by a rapper who sings.

Last week, Mill accused Drake of using a ghostwriter in a long Twitter rant.
