Michael Jordan, at a towering 6-foot-6 inches, is pretty freaking tall for everyday life.
But here is proof that the NBA and everyday life operate on completely different scales of "tall." Dressed in street clothes and standing next to Yao Ming recently, Jordan looks like Kevin Hart.
They are so adorable together. Yao looks like a proud parent taking his adopted child to the first day of kindergarten.
But wait — let's zoom out. Who's that other guy? Why, that's seven-foot Patrick Ewing! Yao makes him look small too!
Now, try to stick with us here, because this is where it gets tricky: Even tall people look pretty short when you stand them next to people taller than them. Just like if you put Yao next to the world's tallest man.
We've seen Yao dwarf many things before, but — sarcasm aside — it is always kind of cool to get the shift in perspective, especially when it involves His Airness Mr. Jordan. (Like, we're not saying it's super cool, y'know? But definitely pretty cool and worth checking out and maybe passing on to a friend.)
But — we hate to break it to you — this is not the first time Yao and MJ have stood side by side. Here they are in a promotional photo for the 2003 NBA All-Star Game, in which Jordan played for the East (he was on the Wizards then, ugh) and Yao suited up for the West.

Here's Yao and Jordan at an NBA Global Games in Shanghai, China, this
week. Look at cute little Michael, succeeding despite his diminutive
stature! They are so adorable together. Yao looks like a proud parent taking his adopted child to the first day of kindergarten.
