CowFootage has emerged of a cow on the loose in New York after it escaped from a chicken and meat shop.
The animal fled from Archer Halal Live Poultry and Meat Market on 165th Street in Queens, according to police.
Officers then tried to catch the runaway creature.
Police saw it at one junction before it ran on to another street.
It was captured on a police dashcam as it headed across the road.
The cow eventually ended up in a parking area, where meat store workers placed a rope around its neck.
It was then put onto a lorry and returned to the store.
No one was injured in the operation.
Later, police tweeted a picture of the cow with the message: "Yes, you heard right! Cow on the loose-Jamaica Queens.
"All officers safe. No injuries. Thank you all for your patience."Embedded image permalink
