Charlie Sheen’s Former Home Is Flipping for $9.2M: Is it ‘Winning’?

Charlie SheenCharlie Sheen’s former mansion is infused with new tiger blood and has been price-boosted to match. The actor sold the house in December 2015—shortly after he admitted to having HIV—for $6.6 million.
Whoever bought the house chose the most bland partnership name possible: Luxury Estate Holdings LLP. The folks behind the milquetoast moniker bought it to flip it. The Mediterranean-style mansion is now listed as “newly restored and enhanced” for $9.2 million.

Are the enhancements winning enough to warrant an extra $2.6 million?
It’s difficult to determine what exactly has been changed—the mansion’s brokerage, Hilton & Hyland, declined to comment. We do know it’s a 9,020-square-foot, six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in the exclusive neighborhood of Mulholland Estates.
According to some “before” pictures on Variety, it looks like the tile floor in the grand foyer has been replaced with hardwood and the chestnut-colored staircase has been stained an espresso black. In the kitchen, the center island countertop has been replaced, and built-in bookshelves in the office have been replaced with more stylish ones.
Sheen has been offloading real estate and personal effects—including a bullet-proof 2009 Maybach he tried to sell on eBay a couple of times—ever since he confirmed the HIV rumors on the “Today” show in November. Sheen purchased this mansion in 2011 for $7 million from veteran movie and TV producer Mike Medavoy.
