Liam Neeson’s Frail Frame Makes Him Almost Unrecognisable

The 63-year old, Irish actor, Liam Neeson, has caused much concern amongst fans after being photographed looking quite frail on the streets of New York last week.
In this dramatic transformation, he appears worryingly gaunt in the face with long grey wispy hair hidden underneath a baseball cap. In fact, he looks almost unrecognisable when compared to the butt-kicking CIA operative Bryan Mills in the Taken franchise.

Even more shockingly, it was only weeks earlier that he visited The Ronald McDonald House in New York in a much healthier-looking state, more like the Liam Neeson we have all grown to know.
It’s difficult to establish whether this new look is a result of natural aging or whether he is/has been unwell or if he has adopted it for a role in a new film, we hope it’s the latter.
In his next film appearance, Silence, directed by Martin Scorsese, Neeson is taking the lead role as Father Cristóvão Ferreira and he’s also playing a Monster in A Monster Calls, both films have entered the post-production stages and are scheduled for release in 2016.
The star has recently announced that he will be retiring from action roles within the next 2 years. He told the Guardian, “Maybe two more years – if God spares me, and I’m healthy.”
When questioned about his recent appearance, his representative confirmed that, “He’s never been healthier.” Phew!
