The Brazilian Court
hotel in Palm Beach, Florida opened to much fanfare in 1926. And to
celebrate its 90th anniversary, the property is offering a special
yearlong promotion (through December 31, 2016): a $90,000 three-day
getaway.
But before you balk at the price, consider what it involves.
The package is for twelve people and it’s a pretty good (and relatively inexpensive) deal. Everyone in the group will be flown there and back via a private jet. Accommodations for all three nights will be at the hotel’s Vintage Collection Suites, which has six separate bedrooms that total to 6,000 square feet. (Much larger than many Manhattan apartments.) Each finely-appointed room will be outfitted with some serious welcome amenities: Dom Pérignon Champagne along with two pieces of diamond and emerald jewelry. Cufflinks for the man. Earrings for the lady.
And just to reiterate: Every person gets one. That’s twelve pieces of jewelry total.
There will also be a “caviar, Godiva, and Dom Pérignon” butler. What does that mean, exactly? Well, his job would be to supply you with unlimited caviar, Champagne, and chocolates throughout your stay. Yes, I did say unlimited. Beyond all that, daily breakfasts and dinners at Café Boulud are included—as is one nine-course “speakeasy-style” supper replete with wine pairings at the restaurant.
As fas as leisurely activities go, a 90-foot yacht will be available for nine hours. Because who wouldn’t want to spend an entire day working on a tan? And chauffeured Rolls-Royces are at guests’ beck and call.
